FEISPARTIC FT4201 Polyaspartic Resin

PROFILE

FEISPARTIC FT-4201 is a high solid content polyaspartic resin modified with ketoimines that can react with - NCO with secondary amine groups. Compared to our F420 resin, this product has excellent adhesion and salt spray resistance, better mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and longer pot life.

PROPERTY

• High solids and low viscosity, used for environmentally friendly coatings with high solids content.
• High reactivity to improve the production efficiency. React with HDI Trimer and dry in 15 minutes.
• The coating film has excellent fullness, leveling performance and high gloss.Has excellent weather resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, salt spray resistance and other properties. High hardness up to 2H and excellent abrasive resistance.
• Excellent adhesion with ABS, PC, PVC and other plastics and a variety of metals.
• FEISPARTIC FT-4201 has excellent compatibility with most of hydroxy acrylic resin and cab.
• It can not only be used with our elastic curing agent to make elastic materials with excellent mechanical properties (elongation 400%, tensile strength 25MPa), but also can be used with rigid curing agent, HDI Trimer (or dimer) to make rigid film (hardness 2H).
• Serve as chain extender or R component in Spray Polyurea Elastic(SPUA).

APPLICATIONS

• Can be used for various high-grade paint fields, such as automobile paint, high-grade wood paint and so on. It can obviously improve the fullness, luster, hardness of paint film and speed up the drying.
• Used to make anti-corrosion coatings for steel structure, oil pipeline and other light or heavy anti-corrosion fields.
• Can be used for wind blade coating field, such as gel coat, putty and topcoats.

SHELF LIFE

FEISPARTIC FT-4201 is hygroscopic and must be stored in airtight containers to prevent contact with moisture. Recommended storage temperature is below 40°C (≤104°F). The shelf life of FEISPARTIC FT-4201 in the closed original container is 6 months.

NOTICE

• FEISPARTIC FT-4201 is combustible and should be stored at the temperature below 40 ℃. It should be kept away from fire source and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated environment. The storage period is 6 months.
• The coating formulated with FEISPARTIC FT-4201 should be tested for performance after one week’s maintenance.
